Anti-Israel protesters have been rampaging on university campuses and American cities for months, but this weekend they chose a rather delicate and symbolic location, invaded by the World Trade Center in New York City.
The crowd carried Palestinian flags and chanted loudly. The arrests were made as the New York police tried to contain the madness.
Cities need to realize that this crowd is potentially dangerous and should be taken seriously.
The Daily Mail reported:
Pro-Palestinian protesters flood New York on International Women’s Day, storming the Oculus as disturbing video shows a protester surrounded by police falling unconscious in the street
Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets of New York as part of a raucous demonstration on International Women’s Day that saw them storm the Oculus near the World Trade Center.
Footage shows protesters clutching Palestinian flags, shouting and cheering after they managed to squeeze into the mall on Friday.
Once inside they formed a drum circle and waved banners reading: “30,878 dead and Joe is eating ice cream” in reference to the president nonchalantly drinking an ice cream cone while being questioned recently about the situation between Israel and Gaza.
More disturbing footage shows a protester knocked out in the street. The activist was seen lying face down while surrounded by police. It is unclear how he was eliminated.
In the background a woman can be heard screaming: “send him an ambulance, screw the cops, he’s passed out” as the police try to coax a response from her limp body…
The “Global Strike for Gaza” began in Union Square before spreading downtown, with subsequent video showing protesters storming the Oculus mall.

How long will this behavior be tolerated? It is rapidly becoming normalized and allowing this to happen is a huge mistake.
