Climate protesters attempt to disrupt Polish Philharmonic Orchestra, crowd applauds as conductor ends stand in one move | The Gateway Expert

If radical climate activists know how to do anything, it’s disrupting unrelated events and being extremely annoying.

Luckily for this Polish orchestra, the conductor was smart enough not to allow their antics on stage.

A beautiful concert was taking place at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Poland, when two climate extremists rushed onto the stage to interrupt the show.

The crazy couple started irrationally shouting that “the world is burning” and called for “radical investments in public transport” according to Poland’s Opera Now.

The two also had a sign on stage that read “Last Generation”, but they didn’t get to display it for long.

The conductor turned around as the two began to rant and snatched the sign from them while the music continued.

Both attempted to hold on to the sign as best they could, but apparently the two young men were no match for an angry older gentleman.

This action seemed to take all the wind out of the activists’ sails as the audience applauded the conductor for stripping climate alarmists of their banner.

Both activists were escorted out by security shortly afterwards.

A post was published on the group’s Instagram account applauding the ridiculous actions of the two protesters, posting a message from one who shouted during the event.

It also states that “both people have been identified by the police. They are prepared for the possible consequences.”

Moments like these continue to demonstrate that these extremist activists have little relationship with the public and are only applauded in their sounding board.

Perhaps if they instead focused on protesting against the government, which has the power to effect change, people would be more sympathetic to their causes.

But alas, if your movement aims to disrupt cultural events and people trying to move on with their lives, most people are unlikely to care about the cause.

Instead, acts like what happened at the concert only work to damage the reputations and causes of these individuals. Now, their beliefs are negatively associated with brokenness and anger rather than meaningful change.

Of course, their movements have never been based on logic or reason, so it makes sense that these groups would engage in acts like these.

On the bright side, at least there are people like the conductor who aren’t afraid to stand up to these protesters who are happy to disturb others.
