Behind enemy lines podcast co-hosts Terry Newsome and Paul Drabik hosted an event featuring Mike Lindell in the heart of a traditional Democratic stronghold last Tuesday night, March 5. The event was not only a success, but it was sold out, with standing room only for the many additional walk-ins. The podcast duo collaborated with LindellTV is the lingua franca to produce the event in Chicago’s former DEEP BLUE Southside. The recording can be found on LindellTV and Rumble at Behind enemy lines Noisy channel.

As blue as Chicago traditionally is, it was no surprise to Newsome and Drabik why the event had so much attendance. The pair has been following the illegal immigration crisis plaguing the city of Chicago and making its way into the suburbs. Discontent among Chicagoans – particularly African-American voters – has grown alongside the increase in illegal immigrants who flood the city every day. A double standard grows the Tower of Babel as illegals rack up taxpayer bills with hotels, Visa gift cards and phones. Even though some illegal immigrants have been forced into school at the students’ expense, there appears to be a bloc of voters who may soon find a home in the Republican camp.

Newsome and Drabik famously admonish RINOs in Illinois for their lack of political will. The tide appeared to be turning Tuesday evening at 115 Bourbon Street on Chicago’s South Side. That red tide is making its way into the city. The presence of Richard Porter, a former special assistant to the president and current member of the Republican National Committee, brought a sense of a changing perspective to the Illinois GOP. Porter spoke about the sanctity of the Constitution and the rights God has given us. The clearest sign of the growing red wave on the horizon was the announcement of the former GOP office led by African Americans opening on Chicago’s Southside on March 23. Devin Jones, a veteran and leader of the Southside Republican Organization that commissioned the office, spoke about the significance of the event.

Many large patriotic groups such as Back the Blue, Parents Matter, and United Sovereign Americans have spoken out about their efforts. Fittingly, United Sovereign Americans set the stage for the man of the hour with their presentation on voter data in Illinois. As Lindell has demonstrated on many occasions, voter rolls across the country are, and have been, inaccurate. The group demonstrated that enough voter registrations had been invalid during the 2022 midterms to make certification of the election impossible. More specifically, the election should NOT, legally, have been certified. The group makes an important distinction because election certification constitutes a violation of specific voting rights laws. Government violations of civil rights were a recurring theme Tuesday night.

Mike Lindell took the stage to a standing ovation from the myriad of patriots clamoring to hear the MyPillow CEO’s message. Lindell spoke about the corruption uncovered in states like Georgia, where candidate elections were annulled due to claims of voter fraud. Lindell fought at the expense of his company, his livelihood and his family to secure elections for America. Lindell talked about being written off by banks and American Express. Specifically, Lindell called attention to a reality that he thinks makes us think. It is still being canceled in 2024, but not for questioning the veracity of the 2020 election. Lindell has been successful in his efforts to secure elections in counties across the country. As a result of this success, Lindell continued to suffer attacks on his livelihood.

Newsome put an exclamation point on the patriotic event that invited vets, first responders and union workers to take a photo with Lindell on stage. Mike Lindell was kind and inspiring. A dim light shone a little brighter in Chicago on Tuesday. The air of Illinois is filled with a new freedom-inspired republicanism. Behind Enemy Lines will continue to cover this phenomenon.
