The 2024 Academy Awards closed out awards season with a bang, including a spectacular, celebrity-filled performance of Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken” and a surprise red carpet pregnancy reveal from actress Vanessa Hudgens.
And while “Oppenheimer” emerged as the night’s big winner with seven awards including Best Picture and Best Director, one of the most talked about parts of the Oscars is still… the super-exclusive gift bags.
But this year, industry insiders are shedding light on the coveted goody bags, which are said to contain everything from all-expenses paid vacations to medical care.
Here’s what the Serie A guests brought home (even if it’s not a statue). In a TikTok that has now garnered over 394,000 views, the makers of the gift bags, Los Angeles-based Distinctive Access Marketing, shows what’s inside the 2024 bags, worth an estimated $178,000 each.

The grants traditionally go only to the host, Jimmy Kimmel, and nominees in each of the major acting and directing categories, typically around 25 of the top nominees.
This year’s grants included a $50,000 adventure in a chalet in the Swiss Alps.
“It comes from the Zermatt Peak Chalet and they will have the entire chalet to themselves and up to nine friends,” the team explained. “They [also] get a luxury private villa in St. Barts from St. Barts Paradise with $25,000.”
The grants also include a week of renewal spa treatments valued at an estimated $24,000 at Golden Door in San Marcos, California, as well as a private show by The Mentalist, a magician-adjacent who relies on “intuitive abilities” to predict the behavior of audience members, worth $25,000.
Other highlight items included a private 24-inch wine refrigerator and a six-inch 3D-printed figurine of each of the grant recipients.

“The bags are basically a marketing deal,” according to the WSJ. “Brands pay the agency at least $4,000 to expose their products to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Most of the expensive items are just invitations for trips or services, so they have no real value until the celebrity uses them .”
This year’s giveaways also included a number of other trinkets, including Scotch, chocolates, a Rubik’s Cube, cat food and other everyday products that can fill an entire suitcase — and two more bags worth.
