House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said President Biden was motivated by an advance book to share classified information with his ghostwriter, but with the White House.
Jordan made some outlandish and fact-free claims:
JIM JORDAN: “What did the ghostwriter do to the audio recording of his conversations with Biden after a special prosecutor was appointed?”
HUR: “He slipped those files into the trash can on his computer.”

White House Spokesperson for Oversight and Investigations, Ian Sams, damn Jordan, “Jim Jordan completely lies and misleads Americans. The Hur report found there were “innocent” explanations for the documents taken in error. It turned out that Biden was “not allowing anyone else access” to his notebooks. He says “the evidence does not prove” that Biden knew the passages were classified.”
The hearing itself was a farce. House Republicans have no clear message and can’t decide whether they believe Biden is a mentally declining old man unfit to be president or that he is a criminal mastermind.
It’s the same confusing message that Republicans and Trump have been sending out for months. Trump will claim that Biden can’t string two sentences together and then complain about how President Biden is leading a massive conspiracy spanning multiple states and jurisdictions to prosecute him.
The hearing is an embarrassment to Congress and Exhibit A over why Republicans should be kicked out of power in November.
