Things are getting very complicated for First Lady Jill Biden as her top aide Anthony Bernal, who she calls her “work husband,” has been accused of sexual harassment and bullying in the workplace.
Jill’s “work husband” in trouble
Last month, New York Times journalist Katie Rogers wrote in her book “American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden” that Jill relies heavily on Bernal.
“Jill and Bernal are, as Jill says, in a ‘work marriage,’ but its reach extends beyond the East Wing,” according to the book, according to the New York Post. Rogers added that Bernal is “known for making life hell for junior assistants who find him impatient, demanding and overbearing.”
“Sometimes, people close to her wonder how aware Jill is of her hitman’s brusque nature, but she is not oblivious,” Rogers continued. “She has told people who have become frustrated with her that they need to talk to him directly about their concerns.”
Multiple sources have come forward claiming that Bernal, 50, shared with them a theory that the size of a person’s thumb corresponds to the size of their genitals.
“The purpose is to make people uncomfortable and have power over them,” an insider told The Post. “It’s Me Too – the classic Me Too.”
Another source said Bernal “often” speculates about the size of the genitals of White House aides and Secret Service agents. A third insider recalled that during a workplace argument, Bernal took a “jab” at a co-worker by claiming he had a small penis. This source added that in another incident, Bernal “noticed another staff member’s bulge in his khakis.”
“There were a lot of inappropriate comments – talking about other people’s attractiveness and speculating about their sex lives at very strange times,” this source said, adding that “this is actually sexual harassment.”

Further complaints against Bernal
To make matters worse, four other sources claim that Bernal often speculates about his colleagues’ sexuality while working at the White House.
“I heard him say inappropriate things about people’s sexuality or inappropriately intrude into people’s personal lives,” recalled a former colleague of Bernal, who is openly gay. “I hear him ask all the time if people are gay.”
“I can think of more than one instance where he pontificated about whether or not someone was gay or said, ‘I’m definitely gay,’” another of the sources said.
Some sources say it is “hypocritical” of Joe Biden to allow Bernal to continue working at the White House after the president made a point of saying he would fire aides “on the spot” if he felt they showed “disrespect” . “to people in the workplace.
“It reflects poorly on the president and first lady,” one source said of Bernal’s behavior, while another added: “They talk about integrity, decency and kindness, but when you work for the Bidens, you feel anything but that.” . .”
“They choose to surround themselves with bullies who run around the White House like mean girls, making the president and first lady look like impostors to everyone in Washington because everyone on the inside is talking about what’s going on on the outside,” this source continued .

The White House responds and supports Bernal
Bernal’s closeness to Jill made him considered “untouchable” by his colleagues.
“He is considered untouchable because of his relationship with the first lady,” a former White House official said. “Staff have been told he is ‘protected’ by Jill or that they should discuss this with him directly.”
As expected, the White House released a statement defending Bernal on Monday.
“The president and first lady have full confidence in Anthony’s character, as do I,” White House chief of staff Jeff Zients said. “His many fans in the White House know that he is kind and tenacious, holding himself to the highest standards, with a heart dedicated to public service. It is disappointing that he is the target of unfounded attacks from anonymous sources.”
Bernal also denied the allegations against him, saying “these baseless attacks are not true.”
All of this shows how hypocritical liberals really are. They claim to be all about kindness and empathy, but behind closed doors they are anything but!
