‘The White House is in a panic’: GOP says Joe Biden’s administration is ‘blocking Congress’ from getting needed documents and interviews

The Republican-led one Supervisory Committee accused the White House to obstruct the impeachment inquiry into the President Joe Bidenclaiming that the mainstream is deliberately withholding crucial documents and interviews.

What happened: The GOP Oversight Committee weighed in Friday Xpreviously Twitterand said they listed several documents and interviews that the White House blocked Congress from obtaining.

“The White House is panicking,” they said, adding: “President Biden wants our impeachment inquiry to end, but it’s not up to the subject of the investigation to decide. This is just further obstruction from the Biden White House.”

The list includes all drafts of then-Vice President Biden’s speech delivered to the Ukrainian Rada in December 2015, Biden’s emails with his family’s business associates in which he used a pseudonym, interviews with current and former staff from the White House on President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, and an interview with a current Biden administration official about his knowledge of possible FARA violations related to Burisma.

The committee also alleges that the White House is attempting to hide evidence of the Bidens’ alleged corruption, including their financial earnings and the president’s interactions with foreign associates.

“We will not be intimidated by the White House. We will continue to get facts for the American people and hold them accountable,” the post concludes.

Because matter: The investigation has been fueled by allegations of corruption and influence peddling in Biden family business, with Republicans alleging the president was deeply involved in those deals. President Biden’s brother, James Biden, testified in a GOP-led impeachment inquiry last month. He told the committee that Biden “never had any involvement” in the business dealings of other members of his family.

Earlier this month, a transcript surfaced showing President Biden using humor during an interview with the former special counsel Roberto Come. This occurred during the investigation into classified documents found in Biden’s residence.

Meanwhile, a recent poll revealed that in key battleground state Georgia, voters chose Trump over Biden in a two-person contest. This despite the former president’s unconvincing victory in the Georgia Republican primaries.
