In a series of moves that strangely remind us of the legal persecution in the United States against President Donald Trump, former Brazilian president and conservative champion Jair Bolsonaro, relentlessly targeted by the new socialist regime, has now been indicted by the federal police, accused of having falsified his COVID vaccination data document.
Bolsonaro told Reuters: «It’s a selective investigation. I’m calm, I don’t owe anything. The world knows I didn’t take the vaccine.”
He is not wrong, since we remember him unvaccinated and without a mask at the United Nations General Assembly, eating pizza standing on the sidewalk outside a New York restaurant, for precisely this reason.
Indeed, for his criticism of the COVID vaxx and promotion of ivermectin and other more effective treatments, Bolsonaro has been vilified by the media and called “a genocidal mass murderer” by the Brazilian left.
But the fact is that the current government of Lula da Silva is faltering, and Lula’s popularity is declining in opinion polls, such as Qaest, Ipec, Atlas companies, as well as Brazil’s largest polling provider, Datafolha .
Lula complained bitterly at a ministerial meeting that he and his group “are losing the digital communications war.”
Thus, the persecution of the immensely popular Bolsonaro, who gathers crowds of rock stars wherever he goes, is of paramount importance to top socialists like Lula and his allies in the rogue Brazilian Supreme Court.
Look: that’s why many people flocked to Sao Paulo to support Bolsonaro in late February.
PROTESTS IN BRAZIL: WHAT THE MEDIA DOESN’T SHOW.

The Associated Press reported:
“The federal police indictment released by the Supreme Court alleged that Bolsonaro and 16 others entered false information into a public health database to make it appear that the then-president, his 12-year-old daughter and many others in his circle had received the vaccine against Covid-19.
[…] Brazil’s attorney general’s office will have the final say on whether to use the indictment to file charges against Bolsonaro in the Supreme Court. The case arises from one of numerous investigations against Bolsonaro, who governed from 2019 to 2022.
Bolsonaro’s lawyer Fábio Wajngarten called his client’s accusation “absurd” and said he had no access to it.
«When he was president he was completely exempt from showing any type of certificate during his travels. This is political persecution and an attempt to empty the enormous political capital that has only grown,” Wajngarten said.”
Police accuse Bolsonaro and his aides of tampering with Ministry of Health documents in December 2022. Bolsonaro would have needed a vaccination certificate to enter the United States.
“If convicted of falsifying health records, the 68-year-old politician could spend up to 12 years behind bars or as little as two years, according to legal analyst Zilan Costa. The maximum prison sentence for a conspiracy charge is four years, he said.”
Brazil’s mad judiciary has already declared Bolsonaro ineligible to run until 2030, on the grounds that he “abused his power” during the controversial 2022 campaign.
