Alleged billionaire Donald Trump has collapsed on his social media platform because he can’t afford his $454 million bail for fraud.
Trump posted on Truth Social:
This outrageous “ruling” simply fails to recognize last year’s COMPLETE VICTORY on the statute of limitations. The corrupt judge and biased attorney general ignore the Court of Appeals ruling, which makes it clear that most claims fall outside the statute of limitations, and none of their absurd arguments change that fact.
The biased, dishonest and incompetent Judge Engoron, who NEVER should have presided over this case, completely ignored the fact that I had ALREADY WON the majority of this case in the first appeal. Applying the correct statute of limitations erases $350 million of the judgment!! But they don’t care about the law, facts or anything, but tying up my money and interfering in elections!! This case should be CLOSED, but instead the Attorney General wants to abuse his power to steal my money!!

Trump admits he is a fraud, but that the statute of limitations has expired, so he should be allowed to get away with decades of fraud.
What the former president’s response tells us reveals that he doesn’t have the money to post the anti-fraud bond.
Trump’s claim that Attorney General Letitia James is trying to steal his money is funny because Trump’s whole problem right now is that he doesn’t have enough money to post bail. Apparently, James is trying to steal money that he doesn’t have.
Donald Trump is trying to get a bond maturity extension, but it won’t work. Trump has until Monday to raise $454 million, otherwise the state will begin the process of seizing his properties. No surety company will give Trump money, and no conservative billionaire has offered to cut him a check.
So it looks like the former president is about to get a punch in the wallet.
