Illegal Immigrants in Florida: A Growing Concern

America’s southern border is completely out of control. Illegal immigrants arrive every day. But not just in states like Texas and Arizona, it seems.

Florida is also part of this.

Illegal immigrants crossing into Florida

From the voice of Florida, “St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson warned of illegal immigrants entering South Florida, including the community he oversees.

“Pearson highlighted in particular how Haitian migrants were traveling to St. Lucie County and how the sheriff’s office was arresting them and turning them into U.S. Customs and Border Protection.”

The story continued:

“Illegal aliens are not just pouring through our southern borders, but they are coming to all the beaches in South Florida, including right here in St. Lucie County,” he said during a video in which his team was meeting actively a migrant ship.

“These are undocumented, unvetted individuals who we have no idea what kind of positive or negative impact they could have on the public safety of our community or nation,” Pearson said.

The sheriff said his agency works with the Florida Highway Patrol to track down illegal immigrants trying to enter Florida, provide them with fresh water and address any medical issues while they wait for the U.S. Coast Guard to process them.

When it will end?

“The men and women of the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor and assist our federal partners to ensure the protection of our borders,” Pearson added.

“The sheriff’s office was unable to provide the estimated total number of arrests made by law enforcement since it is up to the federal government to record the number of individuals prosecuted,” the article noted.

It should come as no surprise that illegal migrants are arriving through Florida, since the entire southern border of the United States has been easy for so many people to cross.

Will all this ever end? That may be a question best answered after November.
