This week, ESET researchers published analysis showing an increase in detections of AceCryptor, one of the most popular cryptors-as-a-service (CaaS) used to help malware stay under the radar. Throughout, ESET has observed that attackers proliferating the Rescoms Remote Access Tool (RAT) have also gotten into AceCryptor, marking a change in its usage patterns in recent months. In these campaigns, AceCryptor was leveraged for campaigns targeting businesses in multiple European countries.
