UnitedHealth plans to settle $14 billion in medical claims affected by the hack

UnitedHealth (NYSE: UNH) said the company is poised to clear a backlog of more than $14 billion in medical claims as soon as its software applications hit by the recent cyberattack on its Change Healthcare unit resume operations.
