Donald Trump couldn’t help himself. He had to lie about having $500 million in cash, which means he has no chance of getting a bail suspension for fraud.
Trump posted on Truth Social:
THANKS TO HARD WORK, TALENT AND LUCK, I CURRENTLY HAVE ALMOST FIVE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS IN CASH, A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF WHICH I INTENDED TO USE IN MY PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN. THE HACK POLITICAL JUDGE, OFTEN OVERTHROWED IN THE CASE OF THE FRAUDED AND CORRUPT AG, WHERE I DID NOTHING WRONG, HE KNEW IT, HE WANTED TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME, AND THAT IS WHY AND WHY HE INVENTED THE SHOCKING NUMBER WHICH, COUPLED WITH HIS CRAZY THE INTEREST REQUEST IS ABOUT $454,000,000. I DID NOTHING WRONG EXCEPT WIN AN ELECTION IN 2016 THAT I DIDN’T EXPECT TO WIN, I DID EVEN BETTER IN 2020 AND NOW I LEAD, BY A LOT, IN 2024. THIS IS COMMUNISM IN AMERICA!
Trump’s lawyers are currently arguing in court that he doesn’t have the $454 million anti-fraud bond, so they’re asking for the bail to be suspended.
The former president has blown that argument to smithereens by claiming he has so much money that he could pay bail if he wanted to, which is great for Attorney General Letitia James, because the state of New York would rather have cash than have to have it. take over Trump’s property.
Donald Trump doesn’t have the money. I tend to believe people who could be sanctioned if they lied to the court rather than a guy who has spent his entire adult life lying about his personal wealth.

Thanks to his post on Truth Social, there is now a zero% chance Trump will get a bond reprieve. AG James has already taken the first step in the legal process to seize his assets.
Trump’s ego is so big and he has been making up lies for so long that he cannot admit the truth about his finances.
Donald Trump’s inability to stop lying probably only cost him $454 million.
