NBC is already considering cutting Ronna McDaniel after her debut this weekend.
Ronna “Romney” McDaniel joined liberal NBC and MSNBC as a contributor and debuted Sunday on “Meet the Press.”
After losing several elections to Republicans, Ronna McDaniel officially resigned as RNC chairwoman earlier this month.
Michael Whatley and Lara Trump have been officially elected as the new president and co-president respectively.
Republicans suffered losses under the leadership of Ronna McDaniel. Republicans were crushed in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023.
Under McDaniel’s leadership, Republicans lost:
-8 governors’ races
-3 seats in the Senate
-19 seats in the Chamber
-1 presidential race
Ronna has found a home on liberal MSNBC and “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd isn’t happy about it and is letting everyone know how he feels.
“She is now a paid contributor to NBC News,” Chuck Todd said Sunday. “I have no idea if the answer she gave you was because she didn’t want to ruin her contract. She wants us to believe that she was speaking for the RNC when the RNC was paying for it. She therefore has credibility issues that she has yet to address. Are you speaking for yourself or on behalf of those who pay you? Once at the RNC, she said so herself. Hey, I speak for the party. I understand that she is part of the job. So, how about here?”
According to Fox News, Ronna McDaniel is already on board.
Fox News reported:
There is active consideration at NBC News to cut ties with Ronna McDaniel after the brutal reception her hiring as an analyst received, a network insider tells Fox News Digital.
The former Republican National Committee chairwoman was hired as a paid staffer last week, causing immediate uproar among current and former NBC staffers, as well as media critics who viewed the longtime Donald Trump ally as unacceptable for the journalistic organization.
An MSNBC insider told Fox News Digital that resistance against hiring McDaniel was worse than leadership expected, and not just within NBC, and for that reason there was discussion of firing her. Spokespeople for NBC News and MSNBC did not respond to a request for comment, and McDaniel remains with the network as of Monday.
