As we reported, Joe Biden is suddenly not replenishing US strategic oil reserves, which he had depleted in an effort to make it look like gas prices were falling.
In 2022, Biden claimed he had “a plan to replenish the strategic oil reserve” after draining it to its lowest level in four decades.

FOX News’ Peter Doocy asked White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre about this today and her brain short-circuited.
He tried to argue that this question is more appropriate for the Department of Energy. Is he ever able to answer a question?

DOOCY TIME: “First of all, you guys started draining the strategic oil reserve to try to help with ‘Putin’s price hikes’ a few years ago. You said you’d fill it again. But now that doesn’t appear to be happening. Why?”
KJP: “Well, by – I believe the Department of Energy is – is responsible for – for that particular component – is filling it – is filling it, so I would refer to the Department of Energy. I know there’s some components to this and how they would go on and fill, fill them. Uh… I… they would have had more details about that for you.”
