First Lady Jill Biden spoke on live television Wednesday after being told the brutal truth that her husband Joe Biden is trailing Donald Trump in key swing states.

Jill snaps when faced with reality

While appearing on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, Jill was asked about her husband’s reelection campaign, specifically a recent Wall Street Journal poll showing the now-president trailing Trump in six of seven swing states for 2024.

“No, he’s not losing in every battleground state,” Jill said, according to the Daily Mail.

“I feel like Joe will be re-elected,” he continued. “He’s getting there or doing better. So you know what, once people start focusing and see their two choices, it’s obvious that Joe is going to win this election.

When asked if she was worried about her husband’s re-election chances, Jill replied, “no, no, no. I feel like Joe will be re-elected.”

Unfortunately for Jill, however, the facts are not on her side. The Wall Street Journal survey shows that Trump is beating Biden in the crucial battleground states: Michigan (48-45%), Pennsylvania (47-44%), Georgia (44-43%), North Carolina (49-43 %), Arizona (47-42%) and Nevada (48-44%). Although the poll showed Biden tied with Trump in Wisconsin with 46% each, he gave the Democrat no advantage in the battleground states.

President Biden is starting to break down

Last month, NBC News reported that President Biden began screaming and swearing in January when he was told that his poll numbers in Michigan and Georgia had plummeted because of his handling of the war between Israel and Hamas. The report adds that Biden is surrounded by “protective aides who want to minimize the chances of a mess” after years of gaffes by the current president.

“This man was successful for decades in Congress and became vice president and president,” one source said. “If you try to change the person, you are making a mistake. Let the president go out there and do his thing.”

Unfortunately for both Biden and that anonymous source, however, it is clear that the vast majority of Americans disagree.

Despite Biden’s unpopularity, Jill worked overtime to get him re-elected amid questions about his mental abilities.

“He can do it,” Jill said in January when asked if her husband could physically handle a second term, according to The Mail. “I see Joe every day. I see it out, you know, around this country. I see the vigor in him. I see his energy. I see his passion every single day.

When asked about concerns that Biden is “too old” to run for president again at 81, Jill responded that “his age is an asset.”

“It’s wise,” he said somewhat straight-faced, according to Fox News. “He Has wisdom. He has experience. He knows every leader on the world stage. He lived history. He knows the story. He is thoughtful in his decisions. He is the right man, the right person for this job in this historical moment”.

Jill can defend her husband all she wants, but it’s clear that the vast majority of Americans have turned against him. Jill may deny her husband’s reelection chances now, but she’ll be in for a rude awakening in November, when she’ll likely find herself having to plan her move out of the White House.
