Investing.com – Israeli stocks rose after Sunday’s close as gains across sectors led stocks higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv the index gained 1.37%.
The session’s best performers were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.59% or 65.00 points to settle at 1,878.00 at the close. In the meantime, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) gained 3.50% or 65.00 points to close at 1,922.00 and Leumi (TASE:) rose 3.41% or 99.00 points to 2,998.00 in late trading .
The worst results of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell by 2.80% or 850.00 points, closing at 29,520.00. NICE Ltd (TASE:) fell 2.62% or 2,470.00 points to close at 91,780.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) fell 2.38% or 117.00 points to 4,800.00 .
On the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered falling ones from 293 to 165 and 81 remained unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery rose 0.16% or 0.14 to $86.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for June delivery rose 0.23% or 0.21 to hit $90.86 a barrel, while the June gold futures contract rose 1, 76% or 40.60 to trade at $2,349.10 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.34% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 4.08.
U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.17% to 104.07.
