A Boeing (NYSE: BA) 737-800 operated by Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) returned to Denver International Airport after the crew reported that a cowling, or removable cover, fell off an engine during takeoff and struck a wing flap, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said Sunday United.
