In 2020, Donald Trump made significant gains among black voters. In 2024 the numbers are even greater.
Support for Trump among black men and women has doubled since 2020, according to a new Wall Street Journal poll.
Many people attribute these gains to the crisis at the southern border, which is now seriously affecting American cities across the country, as well as inflation and Biden’s economy.

30% of Black men and 11% of Black women plan to vote for former President Donald Trump in 2024, Wall Street Journal survey found Thursday, which represents a significant increase over 2020 data.
Losing Black support would be a major blow to President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign.
According to election data, only 12% of black men voted for Trump in 2020. There are no compatible 2020 polls for black men.
In 2020, 6% of Black women said they would vote for Trump, according to an Associated Press poll, five points lower than the Diary 2024 polls.
