The great European farmers’ revolt is still ongoing, with agricultural producers mobilizing on an unprecedented scale in most countries.
The demands of food producers are virtually the same everywhere, and are centered on the failed and crippling environmental policies emanating from Brussels that threaten their livelihoods and may even cause food insecurity and severe artificial famine.
But some countries have an additional problem: cheap, low-quality, unregulated Ukrainian grain flowing across their borders.
This week, two of its neighbors, Hungary and Poland, witnessed developments in the battle against this economic invasion.

Hungary’s conservative and nationalist government is already moving on its own to try to protect its agricultural sector, but the new globalist and Eurofanatic Polish government is still dragging its feet on the issue.
Hungary will impose further restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products, seeking to protect Hungarian farmers from market fluctuations caused by cheaper Ukrainian imports.
The Associated Press reported:
“Agriculture Minister István Nagy said at a news conference that the European Union’s decision in 2022 to allow duty-free imports from Ukraine, intended to keep its economy afloat after the Russian invasion, led to a ‘severe oversupply and significantly low prices’ in the European agricultural market.
He accused the EU and its executive commission of failing to protect European farmers who could not compete with cheaper imports, and said Hungary would approve further protections “under its national competence”.
“Brussels and the European Commission have betrayed Hungarian farmers and are instead supporting Ukrainian oligarchs,” Nagy said.”

Hungary has not supplied weapons to Kiev or allowed their transfer across the eastern border, is opposed to sanctions against Moscow and has fiercely opposed EU financial assistance to Kiev.
Processed products made from Ukrainian wheat would also be subject to the restrictions.
“Hungary last year introduced a ban on the import of 24 Ukrainian agricultural products, but said it would allow their transfer through its territory. The ban applies to grains, oilseeds, flour, cooking oil and several meat products. Last month the government removed natural Ukrainian honey from the list.”

Not far from there, in the Polish province of Subcarpathia, right on the border with Ukraine, farmers are still protesting, blocking major highways out of the town of Mielec with tractors and other agricultural machinery.
During previous protests, farmers had only slowed down these routes, but now there appears to be an increasing total blockade.
Sputnik reported:
“’The government eats and enjoys, and farmers go bankrupt’, ‘Stop Ukrainian imports’, ‘Stop the EU Green Deal’, ‘Stop restrictions on livestock farming in Poland’ – read the banners of protesters.
Farmers have begun protesting in the central Polish city of Lodz. Protesters brought large agricultural equipment, mostly tractors, into the city, blocking several major intersections.
“I am a farmer, not a slave”, “Stop agricultural products from Ukraine”, “No to farmers”. No food. No future”, are some of the slogans of today’s protests.”
