Bryson DeChambeau has been a polarizing figure since he entered the world of professional golf in 2016. For many people who loved him for his talent for science, unconventional methods like playing with irons all the same length as his six iron and a unique sense of style, he has always had more enemies than the typical golfer.
But, now 30, DeChambeau uses social media to win fans around the world. DeChambeau has more followers on YouTube than any other professional golfer: PGA or LIV. As well as YouTube, which is operated by Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc GOOG GOOGLEDeChambeau is active on Snap Inc HURRY‘S Snapchat .

Through DeChambeau’s efforts to grow his social media following, he has collaborated with numerous different influencers both in and outside of the golf space. For example, DeChambeau issued a challenge Paige Spiranac, former professional golfer with more than 4 million followers on Instagram. Additionally, DeChambeau has also produced content with the Nelk guysa famous group of influencers, as well as golf YouTubers such as the Good Good Guys and Grant Horvat.
DeChambeau is competing with Horvat to see who can get 1 million subscribers on YouTube first. While DeChambeau may beat Horvat in average distance run, Horvat is outpacing the Masters second-round leader with just over 600,000 entries over DeChambeau.
