On Monday, radical left-wing anti-Israel protesters closed the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in California for hours.
We now learn that these people have been released by the authorities without any charges.
It’s a good thing these people weren’t Trump supporters or pro-life people praying peacefully outside an abortion clinic, otherwise they could have been in serious trouble.
The New York Post reports:
Anti-Israel protesters who blocked the Golden Gate Bridge for hours have been released without charges
More than two dozen anti-Israel protesters who blocked traffic on San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge were freed from prison Tuesday because the city’s top prosecutor lacked enough evidence to charge them.
District Attorney Brooke Jenkins urged drivers delayed by the hours-long standoff to contact police so they can “be charged as victims” — and so they can build a case against the 26 activists who blocked cars on the bridge on Monday, according to CBS News.
Jenkins said he would send the case back to the California Highway Patrol “for further investigation” into possible false imprisonment charges.
He said drivers, some of whom were stuck on the span for more than four hours, should contact the CHP so they can ask for restitution, according to SF Gate.
“Anyone who was wrongfully imprisoned on the Golden Gate Bridge on April 15, 2024, is urged to contact the California Highway Patrol,” Jenkins said at a news conference Tuesday.
This will make these crazy people even more aggressive.
This is crazy. These people will become more and more bold. What happens when someone dies from one of these events? https://t.co/fazxt1cHhm

Siri, why does this aggressively disruptive nonsense keep happening?
* because those in charge want it to keep happening https://t.co/pqBgGRaXLH

It must be nice to be on the left. You can pretty much do whatever you want.
