WASHINGTON–(COMMERCIAL WIRE)–The inauguration Billington Local and State Cybersecurity Summit will be held on March 19 and 20, 2024 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC and also virtually. The two-day summit will bring together senior cyber leaders who will discuss cybersecurity issues and solutions for government entities at the state and local levels.

State and local governments and the critical infrastructure they support are facing significant cyberattacks. Over the past year, the state of Illinois, the city of Dallas, and the Los Angeles Unified School District have experienced cyberattacks that have impacted their daily operations for several weeks. Yet these same governments often have insufficient resources to protect themselves.
Government officials, technology leaders and academia will attend the two-day Billington Summit and share ways to improve the cybersecurity of the states, counties, cities and municipalities that make up the United States and critical infrastructure sectors.
