President Biden released a new video calling out multinational corporations for restricting inflation by charging more for fewer products.
The President said:
It’s Super Bowl Sunday. And if you’re like me, you love being surrounded by a snack or two while watching the big game.
You know, when you buy snacks for the game, you may have noticed something: the sports drink bottles are smaller, the bag of chips has fewer chips, but they charge you just as much. And as an ice cream lover, what angers me the most is that ice cream cartons have actually shrunk in size, but not in price.

I’ve had enough of what they call shrinkage. It `s a rip-off. Some companies are trying to do something quick by shrinking products little by little and hoping you don’t notice. Give me a break.
The American public is tired of being called idiots. I urge companies to put a stop to this. Let’s make sure companies do the right thing now.

While shopping at the Super Bowl, did you notice smaller-than-usual products where the price remains the same?
People call it Shrinkflation and it means companies give you less for every dollar you spend.
I call on major consumer brands to put a stop to this. pic.twitter.com/wL1NsEh78F

It’s refreshing to have a president who will take responsibility for corporate America instead of planning the next big tax cut and corporate giveaway. Companies are making big money by reducing the amount consumers receive in a package while keeping the price the same.
Inflation has gone down, so the contraction of inflation is nothing more than corporate greed, and the President was right that it must be stopped.
Americans are not fools and do not deserve to be robbed by American corporations.
