After hours of hearing on the petition to disqualify Fulton County, GA Fani Willis from the Trump RICO case, nothing has emerged that merits disqualification.
Willis’ hearing was characterized by many vulgar questions that have nothing to do with the Trump RICO case.
Most of the testimony comes from Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade as he is asked about his since-ending relationship with Willis.
Harry Litman tweeted an example of the type of questions that characterized the day:

Q: You sometimes used your partner’s credit card to pay for dinner with Mrs. Willis
A: I have never used someone else’s credit card.
Q: And if you used someone else’s credit card, you paid them back in cash, right?

This is getting really tacky. When did you first talk to her? When did you sleep with her for the first time? How many times have you talked about 2022?
again, what is the connection to a possible conflict of interest, or a disqualification of Willis, or a problem with the case?—Harry Litman (@harrylitman) February 15, 2024
The purpose of the hearing appears to be to defame Attorney Willis. Lawyers for the RICO defendants went on a fishing trip and presented no evidence that Willis did anything that would disqualify her from the case.
Attorney and legal expert Bradley Moss summed it up:
I see a lot of questionable personal decisions, but I haven’t seen anything close to disqualification yet.

The hearing went nowhere and it would be shocking if the judge decided that Willis should be disqualified.
