Trump’s retaliatory tariff warning
At a recent rally in South Carolina, former Pres Donald Trump he has promised to reinstate retaliatory tariffs if he wins a second term. He specifically mentioned his plan to enforce the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act, stating: “If China or any other country made us pay a tariff of, say, 100 [percent]or 200 [percent]or even 300 percent, and they do, we will make them pay an identical reciprocal rate of 100 [percent] or 200 [percent] or 300% right back.” Economists, however, warn that such a move could exacerbate inflation. Missile attack causes ‘environmental disaster’
THE United States Central Command have reported an “environmental disaster” in the Red Sea after a missile attack by Houthi militants on a ship carrying fertilizers. Nikki Haley’s election prediction
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley predicted that Donald Trump would not win if he were the GOP nominee in the 2024 general election. In a statement on CNN’s “The Lead,” he said, “Donald Trump will not win the general election. We will have a female president of the United States. A new poll from Emerson College Polling/The Hill finds that former President Donald Trump has a slight lead over Joe Biden in the crucial state of Pennsylvania, even as the lead has narrowed. 45% of Pennsylvania voters support Trump in a hypothetical two-person matchup, while 43% favor Biden.
