Can this rich transhumanist defeat death?

Bryan Johnson made his fortune by selling his company Braintree to PayPal for $800 million, earning himself around $300 million. He spends about $2 million a year to create a system to reverse his “biological age.” He is 46 years old, chronologically, but claims to have aged by following a program he calls “the Blueprint Protocol.”

I wanted to ask the question in this technological age: Can an algorithm, combined with science, in fact, take care of me better than I could myself?” says Johnson ReasonZach Weissmueller and Liz Wolfe in the latest episode of Just ask questions.

They spoke to Johnson about his daily routine, including the results he posted measurement of his nocturnal erections, the transhumanist philosophy he outlines in his free e-book Do not diethe role that artificial intelligence is likely to play in prolonging human life and health, as well as the value and limits of self-experimentation in an era of pharmaceutical stagnation.
