Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly spoke out this week to fire NBC late-night host Seth Meyers for his softball interview with President Joe Biden, calling the former “Saturday Night Live!” he is the protagonist of the weakest and biggest hack on his network.

Meyers softball interview with Biden

“Biden finally gave an interview. He didn’t want to do CBS and Gayle King, so he decided instead to go — forgive me — balls to the wall, Seth Meyers,” Kelly began on Tuesday’s episode of his self-titled SiriusXM show.

“Biggest hack at NBC. NBC’s weakest and biggest hack. It’s fierce competition, so keep going, Seth. You are the number one! Yay! You won,” he added. “That’s why you were chosen.”

Yahoo News reported that this came after Biden joined “Late Night With Seth Meyers” Monday night as a supposed surprise guest to celebrate the 10th anniversary episode. Kelly played a clip of Meyers asking Biden, “After dealing with dictators, what do you see in a world where democracy is actually at risk where it might be in this election?”

“The first thing they do, that dictators do, is ignore whatever the rule of law is. They just ignore it,” Biden responded. “Here’s the guy who says he wants to do it, he thinks he can change the Constitution and ignore it, just ignore parts of the Constitution.”

“Here’s the guy talking about ‘punishment,’” he continued. “Here’s the guy – look at her, there’s the guys, the thousands of people who stormed the Capitol, stormed the Capitol, they’re insurrectionists. Two policemen died, other people were seriously injured and what did they say? They were convicted and/or pleaded guilty and he said they are patriots? God, patriots?”

Kelly returns fire

Kelly, however, was having none of it and immediately fired back at Biden.

“Trump wants to ignore the rule of law,” Kelly began. “OK, you mean what you’re doing in these federal proceedings, breaking rules that we’ve never crossed before in our 200-plus year history? Ignore the Constitution. Does he want to ignore the Constitution? You literally bragged about doing this with respect to student loan debt, ‘forgiveness’.”

“Return – it’s about punishment,” he continued. “Look at what he is doing to Trump, not to mention that FBI informant who later turned out to be, they say, not credible and who they believe lied to them and is being treated like no one else who has deceived the FBI or has ever provided false information.” information.”

Kelly doubles

Without stopping there, Kelly blasted the points made by Biden about the January 6 riot.

“Uh, they stormed the Capitol and the cops died. This is also not true, they told this lie again and again,” she argued. “Congress wanted border protection and stopped it because it would help Biden – it’s not about Biden, it’s about the United States of America. You say we need to be more humane, and that’s why you opened the border and your border bill was full of holes and was actually totally ineffective.”

Kelly concluded his rant by chastising Meyers for not dismissing Biden’s nonsense.

“We could continue. Democracy is at stake, but not for the reasons you say,” she concluded. “My jaw dropped, but I didn’t hear any of that from Seth Meyers.”

Meyers is truly one of television’s biggest hacks, and his interview with Biden was nothing short of nauseating to watch. We applaud Kelly for being one of the few people in the media to have the courage to point out the fact that Democrats are the ones displaying the dictatorial behavior they have long tried to accuse Trump of.
