SCOTUS will announce the opinions Monday “on the homepage.”

At some point this morning, the Supreme Court updated the announcements for tomorrow, Monday, March 4:

The Court can announce its opinions on the homepage starting from 10.00 am. The Court will not sit on the bench.

I don’t remember seeing such a notation before. Apart from the COVID period, substantive opinions are announced from the bench. And opinions on emergency documents are published on the website without any notice to the public. (The press may get a warning.) But here we have advance news of a no-handover decision from the bench.

Could this be the case with Section 3? Colorado’s primary is on Tuesday, so a ruling on the insurrection issue on Monday would be just in time.
