TOKYO (Reuters) – Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda said on Tuesday the central bank will consider whether to continue purchases of risky assets, as well as other stimulus measures, when it sees sustained achievement of the 2% inflation target.
The decision on whether to liquidate the BOJ’s holdings in risky assets, such as Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), can be made at a later date, he told Parliament.
