Right-wing commentator “Catturd,” once described by Newsweek as the “king of MAGA social media accounts,” lashed out at Mitch McConnell following the Senate minority leader’s announcement that he would resign.
The popular conservative account on
He believes that McConnell will make it his mission from here on out to defeat Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and the America First movement in general.
“One of the main reasons our country went to hell is this POS war pig,” Catturd believes. “He will spend the next nine months trying to burn out America’s first Republicans and financing every war for his donors.”
“100% guaranteed,” he predicted.

Catturd freezes McConnell with his prediction
As for Catturd’s “war pig” reference – It’s not exactly a mystery where Mitch McConnell’s loyalties have been over the past two years. Almost exactly two years, in fact, since Russia invaded Ukraine.
Since then, financing the war effort in Ukraine has been his top priority, full stop and end of story.
He said this in an interview with Fox News host Dana Perino in which he suggested focusing his time on “explaining to the American people that defeating the Russians in Ukraine is the most important event that is happening in the world.” Right now.”

Earlier this week, in negotiating a massive Senate foreign aid bill, McConnell joined New York Democrats Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries in their efforts to abandon the American people and their desire for a secure border .
McConnell told House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to “put the border aside” because “the Senate foreign aid bill is the only game in town.”
Let’s put the American people aside, because foreign aid is the only possible solution. In other words, as Catturd puts it, a war pig.

Republicans love to set their morals on fire on their way out the door
There is also a rich history of Republican congressional figures willing to burn away their morals and beliefs for two significant reasons: their disdain for Trump and the backbone they ultimately cultivated because they left.
We saw such an example with Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) who served as the key negotiator for a $1.7 trillion spending bill in December 2022 supported by President Joe Biden because, as The Washington Post pointed out, it included “funding for key elements” of his “economic agenda.”
McConnell and Shelby helped rush the spending bill as a means of reducing the power of the purse for incoming Republicans as the GOP was poised to take back the House at the time.
Just this week, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won a lawsuit after a court ruled that the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending package was illegally passed by the House without a physically present quorum as constitutionally required.
They circumvented the Constitution and robbed Republicans of the ability to reign with President Biden, all because they believed that the lawmakers the American people voted to be in office were too extremist, or rather, too America First.
Following news of his retirement in 2021, Senator Pat Toomey (PA), a former member of the “Tea Party Caucus,” voted with Democrats to affirm that the impeachment trial for former President Trump was constitutional.
And how many times have we seen Senator Mitt Romney, who has announced he will not seek re-election, and former GOP backbenchers Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney willing to set fire to the American people on the run simply because Trump is super evil?

Catturd is right: McConnell has largely signaled that he will follow these other weak Republicans in trying to destroy Trump now that he is completely free from the burden of another Senate term.
McConnell will abandon every conservative principle that has characterized a long career. The one thing he will definitely support is funding war efforts abroad and continuing to put Ukraine and Israel first.
Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
