Today is International Women’s Day. As the only party that seemingly knows what a woman is, even without a degree in biology, we would like to take a moment to highlight some of the incredible Republican women who have made a significant impact in politics and beyond.
These women are trailblazers, breaking barriers and inspiring others to pursue their dreams. Let’s take a moment to recognize their successes and celebrate their strength.
Kristi Noem
Noem is the first female governor of South Dakota. She has supported conservative values and defended individual freedoms, as seen in her handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, where she has kept businesses and schools open. Noem also supported the protection of women and girls by signing legislation to exclude biological males from women’s sports.
Noem is on Donald Trump’s short list of vice presidential candidates.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders
Speaking of vice presidential candidates, Sanders is currently the only one to surpass Noem in the latest polls, although there hasn’t been much talk about his presence on Trump’s list.
Sanders is the first female governor of Arkansas. On your first day in office, you banned the phrase “LatinX” from official state correspondence. She also ordered a review of the teaching of critical race theory in Arkansas schools and forced a Chinese company to sell its farmland, citing concerns about “hostile foreign entities” operating in the state.
Last October he signed an executive order described as a stand against “woke madness.” It banned gender-neutral terms from all state government documents. Terms like “pregnant person” and “breastfeeding” were gone.
Virginia Foxx
During her time in Congress, Foxx established herself as a champion of conservative values and helped lead national movements to reduce federal government spending and increase government oversight and accountability.
He currently serves as chairman of the House Education Committee and, at 80, has represented North Carolina’s 5th Congressional District for just under 20 years.
But damn if that’s not what came to mind for this author when he thought of a strong woman – Foxx, telling fellow Rep. Byron Donalds and the reporters around him, “Get away from the damn elevator!”
Even Donalds had a chuckle.

Marjorie Taylor Greene
Sure, some of her shine was lost when she hitched a wagon to oust former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, but it would be impossible to overlook what a badass conservative woman Greene (R-GA) has been since she entered Congress.
Her strong stance on issues like border security, gun rights and limited government resonates with many conservative women. Greene is a firm believer in traditional values and is clearly not afraid to challenge the political establishment.
She was a driving force behind the effort to impeach – an ultimately successful effort – DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas by forcing repeated votes. So just like Foxx and his tenacity, there was this…

Lake Kari
Lake’s background as a successful journalist and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life make her a respected and influential figure in the conservative movement.
She is Trump, essentially, but perhaps a little more articulate in her arguments, while the former president likes to push the boundaries with his cheeky arguments and funny anecdotes.
As far as strength goes, you don’t get much more of a titanium spine than by refusing a bribe – even if that amount ran into the millions or “a billion” – from the Republican establishment, because you believe that saving America is more important.

“It’s not about money, it’s about our country,” Lake said emphatically when forced out of politics.
Fortunately, the conservative movement has actively involved these women. This International Women’s Day, let’s celebrate their successes and continue to support women in leadership roles.
Because it concerns the country. It’s about America.
