Last week, a journalist from the liberal newspaper Politic appeared on MSNBC and suggested that if you are an American who believes your rights come from God and not the government, you are a Christian nationalist.
This was intended to insult all Christians, conservatives, Trump supporters and all other people despised by the left.
Now at least two Christian groups are shouting Politic and asking for an apology.
The Municipality communicates:
Now, Politico is facing formal demands for an apology from two of America’s leading faith-focused organizations: the Family Research Council and Catholic Vote.
FRC President Tony Perkins and Catholic Vote President Brian Burch sent a letter Wednesday to Politico Editor-in-Chief John Harris, Politico CEO Goli Sheikholeslami and Jan Brewer, the deputy CEO of Politico’s parent company, Axel Springer , demanding an apology for Przybyla’s attack. on Christians.
Stating that Przybyla “demonstrated a disqualifying lack of knowledge of the founding documents of the United States of America and a prejudicial view toward American religious groups,” Burch and Perkins noted that the Politico reporter failed to recognize “that the Our very Republic was founded on the belief that our rights come from God, not from kings or earthly governments,” a revolutionary idea “clearly articulated in the Declaration of Independence.”
“SM. Przybyla is charged with accurately reporting on American government, politics, and law,” the religious leaders’ letter notes. “It is deeply disturbing, then, that she appeared unaware of the opening statement of the Declaration of Independence or its references to the ‘Laws of Nature and the God of Nature’.”
In addition to a deplorable lack of knowledge about America’s founding, Perkins and Burch denounced Przybyla for “an attempt to spread misinformation about Christians by creating the perception that they have unique beliefs that pose a distinct and, in her words, ‘extremist’ threat.” to our country.”
Here’s a reminder of what Przybyla said:
Here @MSNBC makes their contempt for Christians in America helpfully clear.
He says if you believe your rights come from God, you are not a Christian, you are a Christian nationalist.
Somehow they seem not to mention that our own founding documents make this… pic.twitter.com/WTLMqcqTzg

Politic they should apologize for it, but no one will hold their breath waiting for them to do the right thing.
