CRIME PAYS: New York City begins handing out prepaid debit cards to illegal immigrants | The Gateway Expert

New York City has begun distributing prepaid debit cards to illegal immigrants. The cards can reportedly only be used for food and baby supplies.

This plan is ripe for corruption.

FOX News reports:

New York City begins offering illegal immigrants prepaid debit cards as part of $53 million pilot program

New York City officials have begun distributing prepaid debit cards to migrant families living in the Big Apple.

The first batch of debit cards, which are reportedly intended to be used by illegal immigrants to purchase food and baby items, were distributed Monday to a handful of migrant families in the city, the mayor’s office confirmed to Fox New York Eric Adams. Digital news.

The effort is part of a $53 million pilot program to distribute prepaid credit cards to migrant families staying in hotels despite public outcry.

The program, which the mayor’s office confirmed will provide migrant families of four with two children under 5 with up to $350 a week until the end of their stay, began Monday with a limited number of families and will expand to about 115 families, or about 460 people, in the next week.
