WWE fans know that “The Rock” as a character often does not express regrets. Dwayne Johnson, the man behind that character, however, says he has some regarding the 2020 presidential election.
Specifically, his support for President Joe Biden.
In an interview with Fox News’ Will Cain released today, Johnson lamented the decision to support Biden and the effect it subsequently had on the country.
“The endorsement I made years ago with Biden was what I thought was the best decision for me at the time,” he said.
“So I thought… I’m in this position where I have some influence,” Johnson continued. “I felt that way then, now it’s my job to exert my influence and share this is who I support.”
Now, however, he has no intention of “inventing” any sponsorship for 2024.

Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave Joe Biden’s campaign a significant boost with very public support.
“As a registered independent with centrist ideologies for years now, I believe Vice President Biden and Senator Harris are the best choices to lead our country, and I support them to become President and Vice President of our United States,” he said. he said she.
“You guys both have experience driving. You’ve done great things. Joe, you’ve had a truly incredible career and you’ve led with such great compassion, heart, determination and soul,” Johnson added. “Kamala, you’ve been district attorney, state attorney, U.S. senator. You’re smart and tough.
Now, he either has regrets or just wants to stay out of politics, so this isn’t to the detriment of his career.

Cain asked Johnson whether or not he would enter the presidential race this cycle.
“Will I do it again this year? The answer is no,” she stated openly. “I also realized that what it caused then, was something that tore at my stomach then and now, which is division.”
“The result after: months and months and months [later] – I started to realize that, oh man, this has caused an incredible amount of division in our country.
‘The Rock’, who is often mentioned as a potential candidate himself, also said during the interview that while he may not hand out an endorsement this year, he will support whoever ultimately wins.
“I’ll tell you this: Even though, like many of us out there, you don’t trust all politicians, I trust the American people,” he says. “And I have faith that whoever they vote for will be my president. And he is the one I will support 100%.”
