Carroll described what he saw when he looked at Trump: “He’s not even there. It’s nothing. He is without: he is like a walrus, he snorts and waves his hands like a rhinoceros. He’s not here.”

Carroll’s comments are particularly damning for Trump
Trump is selling the image of a strongman, but when he was taken to court and treated like any other citizen, he was exposed as nothing. A noisy animal that snorts and bellows and flails, but it’s nothing. He is a fake, a pretender. As Carroll said, he is a person who is only strong because the people around him empower him and make him strong.
