President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump they are the favorites in the 2024 presidential elections.
Billionaire Elon Musk won’t commit to voting for either candidate, but recently shared which of the two he’s “stepping away from.”
What happened: Musk recently found himself at odds with Trump, leading to speculation that the former president was seeking donations for the 2024 presidential election.
Reports also linked Trump to calls for Musk to speak at the GOP convention in the coming months.
A new interview with the former CNN host Don Limone hit the recent discussion with Trump and who Musk would vote for in the 2024 election.
Musk clarified that he did not meet with Trump privately as reported.
“I was having breakfast at a friend’s house and Donald Trump came by, that’s all,” Musk She said.
Musk said he can’t remember what the two discussed and it was Trump who “talked the most.”
The billionaire said Trump did not ask for money for his 2024 campaign or to pay his legal bills.
“I am not paying his legal fees in any way, shape or form.”
Lemon asked Musk if he was leaning towards anyone running for president in 2024. While Musk initially said no, he gave a hint about what will happen in the future.
“Moving away from Biden,” Musk said before laughing.

Because it is important: Musk voted for Biden in the 2020 election, but has since soured on the current president. A controversial relationship with Biden is born Tesla Inc TSLA and Musk had previously been excluded from several meetings on electric vehicles at the White House.
Biden also failed to recognize Tesla as an electric vehicle leader for some time, giving credit to his rival General Motors to “lead the revolution”.
At the time, Musk called the comments “next-level insanity.” The billionaire also offered his own “word puzzle” for which the company was pioneering.
In recent comments, Musk has made it very clear that he will not vote for Biden in the 2024 election.
“I can’t see myself voting for Biden this time,” Musk tweeted recently.
Musk had previously supported the governor of Florida. Ron De Santis in the 2024 election before dropping out of the race. Musk has also had conversations with the Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who also abandoned the race.
The billionaire also spoke out against the Democratic Party’s plans to raise taxes on billionaires.
The comments about moving away from Biden come as part of an interview between Lemon and Musk done as part of a deal the former CNN host signed with X, formerly known as Twitter, to launch an exclusive show in January.
Lemon spoke out and said his deal with X was canceled because his interview with Musk was not to the billionaire’s liking. Musk said Lemon still has every opportunity to monetize himself on X, but he will not receive guaranteed minimum payments.
“Unfortunately, all (Lemon) wants to do is rehash CNN’s dying ‘but on social media’ business model, which will do even worse here than on cable TV,” Musk said.
The full interview between Musk and Lemon is expected to be released next week.
