Faraday Future Intelligent Electric (NASDAQ:FFIE) announced Tuesday that the company has filed a lawsuit against former top executive Ding Lei for infringement of trade secrets and unfair competition.
In the lawsuit, the company seeks monetary damages and also requests that the court order Lei’s Human Horizons company to immediately cease violating the Company’s trade secrets relating to the FF 91. Faraday Future (FFIE) asks the court to order Human Horizons to stop using the trade secrets involved in the case to design, develop, manufacture, and sell the allegedly infringing products, as well as to stop selling the allegedly infringing products or using the trade secrets involved in the case to provide after-sales support for counterfeit products and immediately cease the alleged acts of unfair competition.
At one time, Ding Lei was seen as Faraday’s second most important spokesperson (FFIE) after finding Jia Yueting.
Shares of Faraday Future are down more than 70% year over year.
