S&P 500 earnings are on track to close out the quarter on an impressive note. Nearly 98% of S&P 500 companies have already released their results.
Of the 487 S&P 500 companies reporting earnings to date for 23Q4, 73% reported earnings per share above analysts’ expectations, 23% lagged consensus on EPS, and the rest reported earnings per share in line with consensus.
On the revenue side, out of 487 companies on the S&P 500 list, 67% reported better results and 33% reported errors in the top line.
This week, 7 companies in the S&P 500 index reported results, of which 5 reported results above EPS, while 2 missed EPS estimates.
Oracle (ORCL), Ulta Beauty (ULTA), Lennar (LEN), Dollar General (DG) and Adobe (ADBE) reported results above analysts’ expectations, while Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) and Dollar Tree (DLTR) they did not get consensus on EPS. .
Over the next week, eight S&P 500 companies will release results.
