Investing.com – German stocks fell after Wednesday’s close as losses across sectors led stocks lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the index fell 0.65%, while the index fell 0.42% and the index lost 0.48%.

The top performers of the session were Sartorius AG VZO ON (ETR:), which rose 2.42% or 8.20 points to trade at 347.70 at the close. In the meantime, Hannover Rueck SE (ETR:) gained 1.72% or 3.90 points to close at 230.60 and Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR:) rose 1.62% or 1.58 points to 99.14 in the latest operations.

The worst results of the session were German bank AG NA ON (ETR:), which fell 5.58% or 0.69 points, to trade at 11.60 at the close. German postal service AG NA ON (ETR:) fell 5.21% or 2.32 points to close at 42.09 and Infineon Technologies AG NA ON (ETR:) fell 5.12% or 1.72 points to 31, 88.

The best performer on the MDAX was SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:), which rose 8.95% to 50.90, CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) up 5.45% to 66.75 e TeamViewer AG (ETR:) gained 5.42% to close at 14.39.

The worst artists were Aroundtown Real Estate PLC (ETR:), down 9.53% to 1.79 in late trading, CiaoFresh SE (ETR:) which lost 7.17% to 12.69 e Befesa SA (ETR:) down 4.24% to 32.06 at the close.

The best performers on the TecDAX were SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:), up 8.95% to 50.90, TeamViewer AG (ETR:) up 5.42% to 14.39 and Nordex SE ON (ETR:) which gained 3.45% closing at 9.60.

The worst artists were CompuGroup Medical AG ON (ETR:) down 18.05% to 32.78 in latest trading, Cancom SE ON (ETR:) which lost 5.85% to close at 28.32 and Infineon Technologies AG NA ON (ETR:) down 5.12% to 31.88 near.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered rising ones by a ratio of 385 to 236, with 27 remaining unchanged.

Hannover Rueck SE (ETR:) shares rose to all-time highs; up 1.72% or 3.90 to 230.60. CompuGroup Medical AG ON (ETR:) shares fell to 52-week lows; losing 18.05% or from 7.22 to 32.78.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, rose 1.83% to 13.32.

Gold futures for April delivery rose 0.10% or 2.10 to $2,053.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for March delivery rose 0.41% or 0.30 to hit $73.61 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 0.38% or 0.30 to trade at 78.89 dollars a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% at 1.08, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.11% at 0.85.

U.S. dollar index futures fell 0.09% to 103.98.
