Sen. Josh Hawley has joined a chorus of Republicans calling on Democrats to take a “patriotic” step by invoking the 25th Amendment against President Joe Biden following Rep. Claudia Tenney’s formal request for the attorney general to explore the option .
To no one’s surprise, Biden’s fellow Democrats have remained silent invoking an amendment they often cite as a means to remove former President Donald Trump from the White House.
Concerns have been raised to a high level about President Biden’s mental acuity following the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s damning report outlining his mishandling of classified documents.
The report indicates that Biden will not be charged in the matter because he is an “older, well-intentioned man with a poor memory” and it would be difficult to convince a jury to convict someone so weak.
According to the report, Biden “did not remember when he was vice president” or “when his son Beau died” and showed “diminished abilities” and “significant limitations” during his interview with the special prosecutor.
Tenney (R-NY) was the first to sound the alarm in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland obtained by Fox News.
Tenney described Hur’s reasoning for not indicting Biden in the classified documents case as “alarming” and noted that if the president is not “mentally competent to stand trial,” then he “apparently does not have the capacity to fulfill his obligations.” presidential responsibilities”.

Republicans call for 25th Amendment invoked against Biden
Aside from the special prosecutor’s damning report indicating that Biden’s mental faculties are too impaired to convict him at trial despite having “intentionally preserved and disclosed classified materials,” the President has publicly engaged in disturbing mental lapses with increasing regularity.
Biden has twice said he spoke with former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017, about the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in 2021, and insisted he spoke with former French President François Mitterrand, who died in 1996.
Biden then angrily confronted the media about his memory problems, saying, “I know what the hell I’m doing,” before promptly referring to Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi as the “president of Mexico” and declaring that he is a leader of both. red and “green state”.
That was all just this week.
And with this work, Republicans have called for the invocation of the 25th Amendment for President Biden.
“Biden is mentally competent to stand trial and should be charged with mishandling classified documents as vice president or he is unfit to serve as president,” Tenney said. wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “There is no middle ground.”
Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) agrees.
“For the safety of our nation, Joe Biden must resign. He couldn’t remember the basic facts of his life. He is not competent to remain commander in chief and every day he remains he puts America at risk,” he wrote. “If he doesn’t resign, the government will have to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested that Biden’s “mental decline is so severe that not being able to stand trial means he is unfit for office.”
“We must demand either the 25th Amendment be invoked or he be impeached.” she added.
Joe Biden is incapable of being prosecuted for all the classified documents he stole after leaving office as Senator and Vice President, yet he is able to carry the nuclear football around?

Hawley To Democrats – Do the patriotic thing
Senator Hawley, in a nod to the fact that Democrats who once preached the 25th Amendment during President Trump’s tenure have suddenly gone silent, urged them to finally take a stand on the blatant elder abuse taking place on the world stage .
“Who will be the first patriotic Democrat in Congress to state the obvious and – for the good of the country – invoke the 25th Amendment,” he challenged.
Tenney tells The Political Insider that there is one Democrat who would consider joining his position in invoking the 25th Amendment against Biden – “(Representative) Dean Phillips.”
Phillips, who represents Minnesota’s 3rd District and is a longtime Democratic presidential candidate, responded to the special counsel’s report by calling it “another sad day for America.”
While not referencing the 25th Amendment, Phillips insists that President Biden cannot be allowed to serve a second term.
“The Report simply states what most Americans already know, that the President cannot continue to serve as our Commander in Chief beyond his term which expires on January 20, 2025,” Phillips said.
“Already facing the lowest approval numbers in modern history and losing in every major conflict state, this Report has all but handed the 2024 election to Donald Trump if Joe Biden is the Democratic nominee – and I urge fellow Democrats to face the truth,” He continued.
Instead, most avoid discussion while a select few awkwardly defended the President. Andrew Weinstein, chairman of the DNC Bar Council, is enthusiastic about Biden’s record despite his obvious mental handicaps.
“Joe Biden is honest, transparent, empathetic, selfless, patriotic, and arguably the most accomplished first-term president in modern American history. It works for me,” he wrote on X.
Weinstein disabled comments on his X account, a wise move to protect his reckless remarks.
After a closed-door question-and-answer period with Democratic lawmakers in which Biden made his comment about “green states” and described a landmark abortion case as “Roe v. Word,” Congresswoman Susan Wild (D-PA) vociferously defended the Commander in Chief.
“He performed so well in this discussion with the members,” Wild told NBC News. “He is very sharp, has no memory problems and his only stumble is when he stumbles over words consistent with his usual speech impediment.”
Ah, it’s good to see the old stuttering defense in play again, something Democrats and the media return to time and time again when they have to defend Biden’s “gaffes.”
In a 2019 interview with “Axios on HBO,” the president insisted that his verbal lapses had nothing to do with a speech impediment he overcame as a child.
“Look, the mistakes I make are mistakes. And some people think I still stutter. I don’t think of myself that way.”
Nor should anyone else. 25th Amendment. Now.
Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
