The left on social media went berserk on Saturday after Donald Trump warned of a “bloodbath” in the auto industry if Joe Biden wins in November.

Trump made the remarks at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, where he warned of impacts on the auto industry if he is not re-elected.

“Now, if I don’t get elected, it will be a bloodbath. This will be the bottom,” Trump said at a rally near Dayton, Ohio. “It will be a bloodbath for the country.”

“If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure there will ever be another one in this country,” he added.

While Trump was obviously talking about the impact on American workers, left-wing X reports wasted no time twisting his words as a declaration of an impending civil war:

Luckily, other reports were on hand to expose the hoax and remind us all why the mainstream media can’t be trusted.

As America prepares for this year’s presidential election, don’t be surprised if more Trump-related media hoaxes come your way.
