House Committee Issues Subpoena to Penny Pritzker, Others for ‘Continued Failure to Comply’ with Harvard Anti-Semitism Investigation | The Gateway Pundit

Penny Pritzker

Democratic mega-donor Penny Pritzker is chair of the board of trustees at Harvard University.

Billionaire Bill Ackman called on Pritzker and the entire Harvard board to resign after Harvard President Claudine Gay resigned.

He criticized Pritzker and the board’s decision to support Gay despite her disastrous testimony before the House Education Committee, where she failed to condemn students on campus calling for the genocide of Jews, as well as nearly 50 charges of plagiarism against her.

Now, the House Education and Workforce Committee has issued subpoenas to Pritzker and other top school officials for their “continued failure” to comply with its anti-Semitism investigation.

In January, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) sent a letter to Pritzker and Interim President Alan Garber on Tuesday, expressing “grave concerns about the inadequacy of Harvard’s response to anti-Semitism on campus” and demanding answers.

Harvard had until last Wednesday to provide the Committee with a set of “priority documents,” but missed the deadline.

The New York Post reports:

“Harvard has repeatedly failed to comply with the Committee’s request within a reasonable time frame, despite being granted several accommodations, including the opportunity to submit productions on a rolling basis, offers of multiple deadline extensions, and the identification of priority documents by the Committee,” he said. the committee’s chairwoman, Virginia Foxx (R-NC), said in a letter accompanying the subpoenas to the three officials.

Foxx accused the school of obstructing the investigation while tolerating anti-Semitism on campus.

Harvard has so far provided the panel with more than 2,500 pages of documents, about 40% of which were already publicly available, but has failed to comply with some requests, according to Foxx.

The committee chair said in a statement that she was “extremely disappointed” by Harvard’s apparent stonewalling, saying what has been sent so far is “grossly insufficient.”

The summons obliges the production of the documents and communications indicated in the letter of the March 4, 2024.
