House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) admitted Sunday morning that he has no evidence that President Biden is engaging in influence peddling.
Comer said on Fox News Sunday when asked about the Hur report:
What concerns me is the fact that hidden in that document is evidence that some of the classified documents he mishandled came from Ukraine and China. And as you know, Maria, and as Special Prosecutor Hur should know, we conducted a major influence peddling investigation into the president, in which we demonstrated that at least his son and his brother had been peddling influence with those two countries. .
We want to know exactly what those documents were and we want to know whether Hur actually interviewed Jim Biden and Hunter Biden because, look, this family – as you know very well – has been involved in influence peddling for decades. This is shady, goes against everything we stand for in America, and is a threat to our national security. We therefore have many questions about Hur’s report.

Comer would not address Hur’s claims about Biden’s mental faculties because if Biden was as mentally impaired as Hur claimed, it would undermine Comer’s entire investigation, which is based on the idea that President Biden is a criminal mastermind.
Republicans can’t have it both ways. Biden cannot be both a criminal mastermind deserving of impeachment and a mentally incompetent president.
The impeachment investigation of President Comer has essentially failed. House Republicans are dozens of votes short of impeaching President Biden.
Even James Comer admits he has nothing.
The Biden impeachment inquiry was one of the greatest investigative failures by the House majority in congressional history, and it must end.
