John Oliver has sued the Supreme Court for a serious conflict of interest in Trump’s immunity case.
Oliver said: “The court is now facing a huge unanswered question. Can a former president be criminally prosecuted for actions taken while he was in office? It’s an interesting and very quick question. Yes, yes. A former president can be criminally prosecuted for actions taken in office. Because Clarence Thomas does not appear to have recused himself from this case, despite, as we mentioned before, his wife supporting Trump’s efforts to overturn the election. So, Thomas finds himself in a difficult ethical situation here. And it’s really important to remind him that there is a way out, a comfortable, spacious, luxurious way out, that comes with a lot of gas money.
But the time to accept our offer closes in two weeks, Clarence, so please contact us. I have a contract with both of our names on it, right here. TIC Tac.

The Supreme Court should not hear this case, because there is no unresolved legal question here. The idea that a deeply conflicted justice like Clarence Thomas can vote on whether or not the court will hear the case, and now that the Supreme Court has decided to take up the case, he will be able to rule on a case.
The whole situation reeks of the kind of corruption that is the root cause of why this Supreme Court has lost all credibility with the American people. Until Clarence Thomas is gone, the Supreme Court will have a corruption problem.
