Vice President Kamala Harris warns voters that Donald Trump plans to “weapon” the Justice Department against his political adversaries.
Harris made the comments in a post on social media platform X.
“If re-elected, Trump has openly stated that he intends to use the Justice Department as a weapon against his enemies,” Harris warns. “He speaks openly about his admiration for dictators and has promised to become one from day one.”
“It is up to us to recognize the threat it poses – the choice will be clear in November.”
Some suggest the Vice President’s comments lack self-awareness and truth.

Kamala Harris is enlightening

The sheer gall of Vice President Kamala Harris in making such a statement about Trump against the backdrop of a case involving Rebecca Lavrenz. It’s just gun chutzpah.
Lavrenz, a 71-year-old great-grandmother from Falcon, Colorado, was recently convicted of four federal felony counts for trespassing at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
She attended the rally alone, wearing a red scarf and white hat, and joined a group of people praying outside the Capitol for about an hour and a half.
Lavrenz could be sentenced to up to a year in prison and ordered to pay fines of more than $200,000. Legal costs are excluded from the sanctions.
