Kari Lake, Senate challenger, Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego celebrates with George Soros’ son but criticizes Lake for record-breaking Mar-A-Lago event | The Gateway Expert

Arizona Senate candidate and current Congressman Ruben Gallego, who represents crime- and drug-infested south Phoenix, recently attacked Kari for hosting a fundraising event at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Trump-backed Arizona GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake raised a record $1 million on Wednesday during a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago attended by President Trump, Roger Stone and conservative comedian Roseanne Bar.

Kari Lake breaks fundraising record: raises ONE MILLION dollars at Mar-a-Lago fundraiser

Gallego was quick to criticize Lake’s fundraising, saying in a social media post, “I’d take a town hall with hard-working Arizonans at Mar-a-Lago any day.”

However, as many have pointed out, Gallego recently attended a fundraising event in his honor with Alex Soros, son of left-wing billionaire megadonor George Soros, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of “Hamilton.” This event does not appear to have taken place in Arizona, and it certainly was not held among the “AZ labs” with which Gallego portrays himself affiliated.

Soros tweeted about the mid-March event:

Soros: I’m kicking off election season with my co-host @Lin_Manuel for deputy @RepRubenGallegoThe Arizona Senate race. Ruben has an impressive life story, and the stakes in this year’s election couldn’t be higher: It’s existential.

Fox reported,

Alex Soros, son of liberal billionaire George Soros who now leads his father’s nonprofit empire, continued to forge ties with Democrats leading up to the 2024 elections.

Soros posted a photo on social media this week kicking off election season featuring Arizona’s likely Democratic Senate candidate, Rep. Ruben Gallego, who has received thousands of dollars from Soros this cycle.

Gallego participated in the affair alongside Soros, despite previously declaring that “the ultra-rich don’t need any more supporters in Washington” and criticizing the GOP for siding with “special interests and their billionaire friends.”

Soros, meanwhile, has been an ardent supporter of Gallego. Federal Election Commission records show he maxed out $6,600 in donations for his 2024 campaign.

As RAV correspondent Ben Bergquam observed last month, Gallego hugged Soros “like a little schoolboy” and “licked the communist left.”

“This might be one of the most pathetic photos I have ever seen,” Bergquam said, captioning the photo of Ruben Gallego appearing to kiss Soros’ ass:
