The radically liberal comedian claims she was “uncanceled” six years after posing with the simulated severed head of then-President Donald Trump for a photoshoot, going so far as to claim that “America has decided to pardon” her.
Griffin claims she was not cancelled
Griffin, 63, is preparing to launch his “My Life on the PTSD List” tour tonight in Des Moines, Iowa, before heading to Omaha, Nebraska tomorrow night. Prior to these shows, Griffin told the Omaha World Herald that he has spent the last few years trying “not to get canceled” and that he feels he has finally achieved his goal.
“It’s almost as if America has decided to forgive me,” he said. “And I don’t know why, but I don’t care. I’m just happy to be back.
Griffin called his tour “My Life on the PTSD List” because he strangely believes he suffers from PTSD, something 23% of military veterans actually suffer from, due to the fallout of the his photo of Trump.
“I thought you were supposed to be like a combat veteran, but apparently you can get PTSD, you know, when the president attacks you and you’re on the no-fly list,” he said.
Griffin went on to blame the fallout from the Trump photo on the pill addiction he later developed. She was later diagnosed with lung cancer and, although she is now cancer-free, she only has half a lung left on her left side.
“I have stories,” he said. “(During the show) we’ll talk about addiction, cancer and all the crazy things I do for my PTSD where I just seem like a crazy person.”

Griffin claims his show is not a ‘Trump Dump’
Griffin added that much of her show is improvised, so she’s not exactly sure where it will go. Although she has spent the last few years obsessively bashing Trump every chance she gets, she says her new show won’t be a “Trump dump.”
“For now, I don’t even mention Trump on my new show,” he said. “He just doesn’t show up.”
However, given that Trump is still living rent-free in his head, it’s a little hard to believe.
Griffin concluded by expressing hope that those who attend his show will keep an open mind.
“Girls are fun. Don’t believe what they say, it’s an old story that they’re not funny,” she said. “I just want to go out and say something equally funny and give the audience a good time, an escape (and) a relief.”

Griffin implores fans to purchase tickets
Unfortunately for Griffin, however, it appears she doesn’t have much of an audience left. Earlier this week, she pleaded with fans to buy tickets to her show after admitting they were “not selling well”.
“I’ll be honest with you guys. I had another voice surgery two days ago, so I think my voice sounds better. Yet I have Covid and I’m heartbroken because I’m getting divorced,” Griffin said in a desperate video posted on social media. “It’s all about the tour, man. Hell, take me to opening night in Des Moines. And Omaha isn’t selling well. First of all, there aren’t enough people there.”
“I need comedy fans to come see me in Kansas City,” he continued. “Come on! I need a full house. I’ve been through hell. I’ve been through so much crap since my last tour. I actually just have to laugh about it. All I can do is laugh. So please…”
In the wake of Griffin’s Trump severed head photo scandal, millions of people have seen how truly not funny it is. Griffin can continue to play the victim and lie to herself all she wants, but judging by her dismal ticket sales, it’s clear that America hasn’t forgiven her after all.
