Last week singer Kid Rock called on Israel to kill “40,000 civilians at a time” if Hamas does not immediately return the hostages it took.

Kid Rock made the controversial comments while appearing on Joe Rogan’s podcast of the same name last Thursday.

“Only the wars we won were the fucking ones where we were the most brutal motherfuckers on the planet,” Kid Rock began, according to the Daily Mail. “Which, I don’t disagree with what Israel is doing.”

“It’s like they just have to come in and say, ‘You know what? We want our hostages back. If we don’t get them back, time will start now,’” she added, referring to the 134 hostages still held by Hamas.

That’s when Kid Rock really let loose in a profanity-laced outburst.

“And, damn, 24 hours a day, we’re going to start bombing motherfuckers and killing fucking civilians, thirty, forty thousand fucking times. So you civilians better pack your bags and take these motherfuckers. And go against Hamas. You fucking go against them. We are not playing bullshit games with you,” she said.

Rogan pushes back

Rogan rebuffed Kid Rock at various points during the segment.

“You shouldn’t choose civilian targets,” Rogan retorted. “This is actually a war crime.”

“You can’t fight the war like that!” Kid Rock exclaimed, to which Rogan replied, “But you shouldn’t pick civilian targets.”

Kid Rock supported his thesis by stating that Hamas often “hides behind civilian targets.” While Rogan agreed, he also pointed out that “if you’re a person born in Palestine, you’re screwed. You are under their (Hamas) control. It’s not your fault.”

Kid Rock agrees with this, admitting that those people are “fucked up… by birth.”

“Those are not our enemies,” Rogan concluded in arguing against civilian targets.

Social media users respond

Kid Rock’s comments drew mixed reactions on social media, with some calling them “disgusting,” according to Newsweek.

“This is just disgusting” he wrote a social media user. “Where is the pushback? This piece of shit can just spew this garbage about justifying killing children. Then here they scream about “protecting children” but it’s all a lie. For them it’s just political football. Are you advocating the death of children?”

“This man is literally advocating killing 40,000 civilians so Israel can recover 134 hostages. F****** think about it. In his eyes, 134 hostages are equivalent to over 100,000 people. Arrest that man,” another added, with a third writing, “I stand with Israel, but this is just pathetic.”

Others, however, agreed with Kid Rock.

“Kid Rock gets it. Free the hostages,” one user said, while another added, “Kid Rock should be proud.”

“Kid Rock is a once-in-a-generation talent, I’m happy he’s on our side,” commented conservative activist and author Brigitte Gabriel, who a few hours earlier had said: “If you’re on the side of Palestine, you’re on the side of terrorism and barbarism. If you are on the side of Israel, you are on the side of peace and civilization.”

Netanyahu speaks clearly

Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war with Hamas could end within “weeks.”

“We have already destroyed 18 of the 24 Hamas terrorist battalions, so we have four [that] they are concentrated in Rafah,” Netanyahu said, according to the New York Post. “We cannot leave Hamas’ last stronghold without taking care of it. Obviously we have to do it.”

“It must be done. Because total victory is our goal and total victory is within reach,” the prime minister added. “Not in months, weeks, once the operation begins.”
