- Arm Holdings plc ARM was the worst performing large-cap stock last week, falling 31.08%. The company came alongside ASML Holding NV ASML, which last week reported worse-than-expected first-quarter FY24 results. Exane BNP Paribas analyst David O’Connor downgraded ARM from “Outperform” to “Neutral” with a $100 price target.
- MicroStrategy Inc MSTR shares lost 20.07% over the past week. Most crypto stocks tumbled last week due to Bitcoin volatility Bitcoin/USD price.
- Coinbase Global Inc CURRENCY stocks lost 15% last week due to Bitcoin weakness Bitcoin/USD price. Economist and cryptocurrency skeptic Peter Schiff has expressed skepticism about the explosion of the Apex cryptocurrency, in line with the predictions of some bulls.
- Prologis, Inc. PLD fell 13.73% as the company’s Q1 FY24 rental revenue of $1.83 billion missed consensus and lowered its FY24 outlook for EPS and FFO/core stock due to expected lower average occupancy and competitive leasing.
- Tesla Inc TSLA it fell 13.6% last week. The company led by Elon Musk has had a difficult week in many ways. It faces declining demand for electric vehicles, Cybertruck recalls, employee layoffs and price cuts.
- Equifax Inc. EFX shares fell 13.54%. The company on Wednesday reported worse-than-expected first-quarter sales results and issued adjusted guidance below estimates.
- User Corp BRKR had a tough week, losing 11.90% in value after announcing its acquisition of NanoString Technologies for $392.6 million in cash.
- Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. LIE it fell by 11.76%. The company’s shares have taken a hit following a report that the Department of Justice will file an antitrust lawsuit against the company.
- Arista Networks Inc. Aneta it fell 10.69% last week. Recently, an analyst at Rosenblatt downgraded the stock twice to “Sell” with a $210 price target.
- JB Hunt Transportation Services, Inc. JBHT fell 10.47% as Q1 FY24 earnings missed consensus estimates due to lower segment gross revenues and lower loads. Several analysts lowered their price targets for the stock following the earnings miss.
- Albemarle Corp SHIRTS Shares lost 9% in value last week due to volatile lithium prices.
